The myth of a superhuman AI Kevin Kelly
Kevin Kelly is probably the most interesting man in the world. Aside from founding Wired magazine, he’s extremely knowledgeable about technology. His article is quite refreshing, he doesn’t buy into the AI hype at all. It’s a bit long but well worth it.
Is the gig economy working? New Yorker
Another interesting contrarian point of view about the gig economy. The dream of a free lifestyle seems unattainable for those in it. Great (and long) piece in the New Yorker

There’s a definitely a saturation of articles about Amazon. This one though paints in a way that I found interesting. It will be very hard for established retailers to combat Amazon’s technology and go to market superiority.
Great read on China’s ambitious growth plans. China is building infrastructure and roads as a means to export its products and provide contracts for Chinese companies.
Where it’s made: A Ford in China NY Times
Very cool and short VR video about how a car is made in China.
