Summary
In collaboration with PNR’s partners and team members, the Director is responsible for delivering and executing client consulting mandates, producing supporting documentation, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with client leadership teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven strategies to achieve them;
- Design strategic recommendations for executives, clients, and major organizational stakeholders;
- Ensure alignment between the strategic plan and client project portfolios; oversee the development and monitoring of dashboards that track strategic plan execution at the executive team, board, and shareholder levels;
- Evaluate growth project opportunities, new products, and investment prospects through detailed analysis;
- Support clients in identifying, assessing, and executing potential acquisition opportunities, including conducting market research, performing in-depth analyses, and building financial models;
- Apply your financial expertise and sharp business acumen to help CEOs and their executive teams bring their strategic priorities to life and maximize the value generated by their strategic plan.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Strategic financial profile, with a strong orientation toward value creation and data-driven decision-making;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in consulting, finance, and/or corporate strategy (FP&A, Corporate Finance, or M&A);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present professionally and concisely to executive teams;
- Strong financial analysis capabilities; ability to translate data into clear, actionable business recommendations;
- Capacity to develop a comprehensive view of a business, its industry, and its risks and opportunities;
- Self-directed and intellectually curious, with the ability to propose innovative solutions to complex and varied business challenges;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong team player with the ability to build lasting, trust-based relationships with clients;
- Exposure to M&A transactions and/or due diligence processes;
- Bilingual: excellent command of both French and English, written and spoken.
Considered an Asset
- CPA, CFA designation, or MBA;
- Demonstrated interest in AI and its advanced applications within a strategic business context.
